Irena Bastek Tobiasz, 84, of North Branford, died March 9, 2025 in the Guilford House surrounded by her family. She is the wife of the late Zygmunt Tobiasz. Irena was born in Myszyniec, Poland, March 1, 1941 a daughter of the late Stanislaw and Weronica Zdunek Bastek. She is the mother of Krystyna (Eugeniusz) Majewska, Beata (Greg) Wylezinski, Dariusz Tobiasz, Mariusz (Zofia) Tobiasz and the late Jolanta Pracon. Sister of Marianna Kaczmarczyk and the late Janina Mizerek, Ryszard, Henryk, Jerzy and Stanislaw Bastek. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 12 great- grandchildren.

Visiting hours will be Wednesday, March 12th from 4-7pm in the Lupinski Funeral Home, 821 State Street, New Haven. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday at 10:00am in Blessed Michael McGivney Parish at St. Stanislaus Church, 9 Eld Street, New Haven. Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery.
