Juanita Joann Wente, age 90, passed away Sunday, March 9, 2025 at her residence in Dresser, WI.

Juanita was born on August 11, 1934 in Minnesota to parents, Maurice and Evelyn (Holt) Petersen. She was married to Floyd Wente October 11, 1952 and from this union, were blessed with four boys.

Juanita was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church for over 60 years and helped with many church events. She volunteered at Good Samaritan for many years and also, served as Treasury of the Auxillary Club. She enjoyed embroidery, cross-stitching, baking, and gardening in her free time, but most of all, she cherished the time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her sons, Arlen (Kathy), Arnold, and Steve (Suzy); grandchildren, Melanie (Mykol), Ryan (Amber), Tyler (Mary Claire), and Alex (Jamie); great-grandchildren, Kenzi McConaughey, Zac, Reese, Manny, Lennox, Eva and Avery; great-great grandchildren, Arya Amber, and Archie; siblings, Gladys Bolton, Maureen Zibrowski, Donna Kalina, Beverly Allen, Sharon Langenfeld, Marlin Petersen, and Kenny (Joann) Petersen; many nieces, nephews, other extended family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Floyd; son, Michael; brothers, Wally and Ronald Petersen; and sisters, Delores Bastyr, and Audrey Malecha.

Memorial service for Juanita will be held 12:00 PM Saturday, March 22, 2025 at Redeemer Lutheran Church in St. Croix Falls, WI. Visitation two hours prior. Burial at a later date at St. Croix Falls Cemetery.
