1952-March 9, 2025

Kirk B. Thrasher, 72, went to be with the Lord on, March 9, 2025. A proud graduate of Midwest

City High School. Kirk dedicated 50 years to his craft as an electrician, a career

that reflected his hardworking and dependable nature. He was a member of the

International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Union 1141.


He is proceeded in death with his father Doss, his mother Betty and sister Kay.

He is survived by his wife Deana of Warr Acres, his brother Brent & Nancy

Thrasher of Harrah, OK, his daughter Star Reed & family of Tuttle, OK and son’s

Kyle & Conan Thrasher, step sons Aaron, Cody & Garrett and numerous nieces,

nephews and grand kids.


Kirk had a deep love for his family, especially his grandkids, who brought him

endless joy. When he wasn’t working, you could find him at the races enjoying the

thrill of speed, road trips and the open road. He believed that if you weren’t

driving like you were racing, you weren’t driving fast enough.


Kirk was a lifelong fan of the Boston Red Sox and Oklahoma State Football. Kirk’s

passion for sports, adventure and his loved ones defined his life. He would do

anything for anyone. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all who

had the pleasure of knowing him.


A Celebration of Life will be held March 19, 2025 at 3:00pm. His legacy of love,

laughter and a need for speed will live on in the hearts of those he left behind.
