Mary was born on February 8, 1944, in Genoa, NE, to Arthur and Stella (Kula) Kurth. She spent her childhood in Fullerton before moving to Belgrade, where she attended Belgrade High School. On October 20, 1964, she married Mervyn Yeager in Yankton, SD. Together, they resided in Belgrade and had four children: Kevin, Karen, Kelly, and Karl. After, Mary continued to reside in Columbus until her passing.

Mary had a passion for crocheting and enjoyed spending time solving word search puzzles. She had a remarkable green thumb, filling her home with many plants. Old country music and classic westerns were among her favorite pastimes. She was also President of the resident council at Emerald Nursing & Rehab.

She is survived by her children, Kevin Yeager of York, Karen Tonniges of York, Kelly Yeager of Fairmont, and Karl (Nikki) Yeager of Omaha; three grandchildren, Ashley Tonniges of Bellevue, Sean Tonniges of West Monroe, LA, and Alex Soloman of Omaha; six great-grandchildren, sister, Gloria Greger of Columbus; brother, Harold Kurth of Broken Arrow, OK; nieces and nephews, Lisa Johnson, Angela Hansen, Kristin Greger, Teddi Beard, and Chris Kurth; and three great-nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husbands; her parents; and son-in-law, Michael Tonniges.
