Ms. Charlene Jacobs, 84 went to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 9, 2025 at her home surrounded by her family.

Graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, March 12, 2025 at Cape Fear Baptist Church Cemetery.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Roman and Emma Mae Jacobs; daughter, Patricia Brewington; and her siblings, Holland Jacobs, Howard Jacobs, James Jacobs, Glenda Locklear, Gertrude Lowery, Shirley Bullard, Hoyland Jones and Roman Jacobs, Jr.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Donna Lynn Scott (Eric) of Lumberton, Dennis Mellott (Lori) of Eastover, Joan Waddell (Tracy) of Mount Olive, Phyllis Lewis (Wayne) of Currie, and Paula Hunt (Johnny) of Lumberton; She was blessed with many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; and her son-in-love, Mike Brewington.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Charlene’s name to Cape Fear Baptist Church, 100 Indian Drive, Fayetteville NC  28312.
