Terry Kleineweber, age 82 of Nebraska City, NE passed away peacefully at his home March 9, 2025.

Terrance “Terry” C. Kleineweber was born on February 3, 1943 in Nebraska City, NE; the son of William and Catherine Kleineweber.  He attended school at Lourdes Central Catholic where he graduated with the Class of 1960.

Terry entered the United States Navy on July 7, 1960, and proudly served his country for 9 years.  He was honorably discharged on November 25, 1969. 

After his service in the military, he worked independently doing construction and in his later years worked at OPPD. He had many interests including hunting, golfing, baking, photography, and flying model airplanes. His most recent hobby was bee keeping and growing watermelons and cantaloupe. He loved to share his melon produce with his friends and his church family.  Terry was a member of St. Benedict’s Catholic Church.

He is survived by his brother, Michael Kleineweber of Algona, IA and many nieces and nephews.

Terry was preceded in death by his parents and siblings: Joan, Marilyn, William and Edward.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, March 13 at St. Benedict’s Catholic Church with Fr. Doug Daro officiating.  Burial will follow at St. Benedict’s Cemetery in Nebr. City with Military Honors conducted by the United States Navy Funeral Honors Detail and the Talmage American Legion Post.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, March 12 from 6-7 p.m. at the church with a Rosary at 7 p.m.

Memorials may be given to St. Benedict’s Catholic Church in Nebr. City.
