JoAnn Caroline McKay-Breakie, age 84, of Davison, passed away March 9, 2025 at home, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on October 30, 1940, in Detroit, Michigan, daughter of the late Peter and Virginia (nee: Damoil) Christensen. Loving wife of Paul Breakie for 16 wonderful years; dear mother of Herb Vickery, Ricky (Kim) McKay, Joey McKay, Sherry (Dan) Williams, Matt (Tappatha) McKay, the late Randy (Penny) McKay, the late Terry (Ron) Brown, and the late Robbie McKay; proud grandmother of 19, great grandmother of 27; sister of Pete (Jodie) Christensen, Tim (Marci) Christensen, the late Tom (Vickie) Christensen and the late Virginia Rogers. JoAnn enjoyed shopping, spending time with her family and serving her Lord and Savior. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 11, 2025 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Village Funeral Home of Ortonville, 135 South Street. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 12, 2025, 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Pastor Toby Tyler, officiating. Interment Ortonville Cemetery.
