Wilhelmina Gauthreaux Landry went to her heavenly home on March 9, 2025, at the golden age of 88. She was a wonderful person who was always there when needed. She was born to Ulysses and Florence Geason Gauthreaux in New Orleans, LA, on February 20, 1937. She was raised in Welcome, LA (now known as St. James) along with her ten siblings. She proudly shared the story of how a lady in the hospital named her after Queen Wilhelmina of the Netherlands.

She obtained her bachelor's degree, master's, and 30+ hours in Education at Southern University in Baton Rouge, LA.
