Jacqueline Wilma Pelton, age 92, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 9th, 2025 at Genoa Retirement Village.

The daughter of Jack and Wilma (Gidley) Auger, Jacqueline was born on December 11th, 1932 in Lakewood, OH, harboring a love for Lake Erie.

Jackie was married to her late husband Bob for 64 happy years. They belonged to Trinity United Church of Christ, Elliston where she was honored to be a part of the Woman's Fellowship and loved to sing in the choir.

In her younger years, Jackie worked alongside her sister Betty at their fathers many restaurants in Conneaut, OH. After she and Bob were married Jackie became the ultimate homemaker, spouse, mother and grandmother. Everyone that knew her loved her.

She is survived by her granddaughter, Katie Pelton. Jackie was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Rick Pelton, beloved husband Bob, and her three brothers and one sister.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday, March 12th at Trinity United Church of Christ, Elliston where the family will receive friends after 10:00am. Interment will follow at Harris-Elmore Union Cemetery, Elmore. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Trinity United Church of Christ or Heartland Hospice of Fremont.
