Paula Lee Staub

Paula Lee (Quaca) Staub, 61, of Middletown, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, January 28, 2017 at her home surrounded by her loving family and friends. <br/>She was born on November 16, 1955 in Harrisburg and was the daughter of the late John and Pauline (Bauchmoyer) Quaca. <br/>Paula was a lifetime member of St. Peters Evangelical Lutheran Church, Middletown and a graduate of the Middletown High School, class of 1973. She was retired from the Middletown Area School District, where she worked for many years at several clerical positions. She enjoyed knitting, loved watching sports, especially Penn State Football and Little League Baseball, and she also loved the beach but her greatest joy came from the love of her family, especially her granddaughter Emilee. <br/>She is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, Gerald Lee Staub; a son, Thomas J. Staub and his wife Amanda of Harrisburg and her granddaughter, Emilee M. Staub. <br/>A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 3, 2017 at 11:00 AM at St. Peters Evangelical Lutheran Church, Spring and Union Sts., Middletown with the Rev. Dr. J. Richard Eckert officiating. There will be a visitation from 9:00AM until the time of services, Friday at the church. <br/>Burial will be at the convenience of the family. <br/>The family has entrusted the care of the Matinchek Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Middletown to handle the funeral arrangements. <br/>Memorial contributions may be made to Compassionate Care Hospice, 1513 Cedar Cliff Dr. #100, Camp Hill PA 17011 or her church, St. Peters Evangelical Lutheran Church, Spring & Union Sts.
