Walter Leon Scales 74, of San Francisco, died the evening of, Sunday, November 11, 2018 at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital. He was born November 4, 1944 in San Francisco, to Frank and Forestine Scales. He is survived by siblings Lutisha Woods, San Francisco and Frank Scales, Sacramento, CA, four nieces, Belinda, Tina, Alesha and Michelle, one nephew Isaac Woods III and several cousins. His parents Frank and Forestine Scales preceded him in death. Walter was a life long resident of San Francisco. He graduated from Galileo High School in June of 1962. He joined the Air Force upon high school graduation. After completing the Air Force he attended San Francisco City College for one year. He enjoyed literature, jazz music and family gatherings. The memorial service will be 1:00 PM on Friday, December 7th, 2018 at Duggans Serra Funeral Home in Daly City, CA. Reverend Mann will be officiating. Repast following the service at 3pm located at Original Joes of Westlake.
