Henri Frenel Polycarpe Obituary

Henri Frenel Polycarpe, born on January 12, 1954, in Anse-

Du-Claire, Jeremie, Henri was the cherished son of the late

Melia Polycarpe and Carl Cave. He departed this life on

February 14, 2025.

Henri was a devoted husband to his beloved wife Sheila

Plante, with whom he shared a beautiful and loving marriage

since June 17, 1998. Their bond was one of unwavering love,

support, and companionship. He was a dedicated and loving

father, father-in-law, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin,

and friend. His legacy lives on by his beloved surviving

children, grandchildren, brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews,

aunts, uncles, and friends - Fredeleine Polycarpe Thomas,

Sadaria Polycarpe, Tevin Jonathan Polycarpe, Turner Plante,

Rudy Thomas, Roody Nezilien, Ikea, Sohanna, Riley, Chris,

Damien, Williana, Asael, Jedaiah, Tyler, Deja, Clemence,

Jeanine, Martine, Nancy, Willner, Eddy, Katiana St Thomas

Azemar, Phenton Paillant, Bergeline, Ricardo, Mckenley,

Tenicha, Johane, Erika, Stacy, Anne-Sophie, Lucas, Lyndy,

Gracia, Dilelia, Silvano, Nosilas, Fleury, Estelia, Sonia, Carida,

and Bernado.

For over two decades, Henri was a dedicated employee at

Weston Diplomat & Spa, where he was known for his hard

work, integrity, and the kindness he extended to everyone

he encountered. He had a deep love for family gatherings

and never missed an opportunity to be present, whether

locally or abroad. His presence was the “glue” that held the

family together, offering love, wisdom, and unwavering

support.

Henri was a guiding figure, a source of wisdom, and a pillar

of strength in our lives. His warmth and generosity were

unmatched, and his absence has left an irreplaceable void in

our hearts. He loved cars, sports, and most importantly,

spending time with family.

As we mourn his passing, we find comfort in the cherished

memories we hold dear. We lean on each other, reminiscing

about the laughter, lessons, and love he shared with us.

Though he is no longer physically present, his spirit lives on

in the hearts of those who loved him. Rest in peace, dear

Henri, until we meet again
