Mrs. Sarah Kathryn Walker a resident of the Tennille Community passed away Friday, December 11, 2015 at Southeast Alabama Medical Center in Dothan. She was 88. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at Springfield Baptist Church with Rev. Don Ash officiating. Skeen Funeral Home directing. She was born March 8, 1927 in Pike County to the late Jessie Foreman Bowden and Znobia Wilson Bowden. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth H. Walker. She is survived by her sons: Ken H Walker, Jr., Brundidge; Kris C Walker (Ann), Eufaula; and Keith B Walker (Connie), Pilot, VA; special nephew: Bobby Middleton, Troy; brother: Frank Bowden, Columbus, GA; sister: Virginia Bryan, Tennille. 7 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. Memorials may be made to Springfield Baptist Church.
