Joseph David Guarino Obituary

Husband, Dad, Opa, Son, Nephew, Plumber, Pilot, avid rock collector; These are just some of the things that come to mind when picturing the life of Joe Guarino.

His Charisma and big heart touched the lives of everyone lucky enough to meet him. Known for going above and beyond for his family name, Joe was always paying it forward such as buying strangers meals at restaurants & contributing to his local community. Joe could always be counted on to be there and make things right with 20 years+ dedicated to perfecting his craft.

Honesty, Integrity, compassion, work ethic, and self respect were some of his most valued attributes. “DO THE RIGHT THING, EVERY TIME, ALL THE TIME” are words that come to mind.

Plumbing, flying aircraft, and collecting rocks with his loving wife were some of his favorite hobbies and life passions: along with hunting, going out shooting any of his guns, camping, fishing, trips to the beach in the Family motorhome, and floating on the water with a cold beer in hand.

Joe was the "town mayor" everywhere he went, with his infectious smile and magnetic personality. He will be forever and dearly missed by his surviving family and everyone whose life he ever touched.

Thank you all for taking this time to remember him as the generous, caring, big hearted, thoughtful, and the intelligent man he was.

*Survived by Patti Guarino (Wife 46yo), Lynnie Monda (Oldest daughter 26yo), Madalyn Guarino (Second daughter 22yo), and Joseph Guarino JR (Youngest child and only Son 20yo), Kyah Bozarth (First granddaughter 9yo), Maverick Hedrick (Grandson 8mo), Paisley Hedrick (Baby on the way), Clifford Guarino (Father 74yo) and many others. Born in Idaho, his journey ended on February 14th, 2025, a day before his and his wife's 22nd year anniversary, in the quaint town of Prineville Oregon where he had raised his family for the last 20+ years and grown his business and legacy. 50 years young, only the good die young.

There will be a Celebration of Life March 1st, 2025, 10:00 Am, at Prineville Funeral Home. The family has donation jars at Sons of Beer, Ace Hardware, and Ochoco Feed to help the family through this difficult time. There is a go fund me set up-https://gofund.me/c02630c0
