Janice Carol Weckbaugh, age 80, passed away on February 14, 2025. She was born in Lakewood, Colorado and attended Mountair High School.  She was married to Walter Weckbaugh for 25 years until his passing in May 2021.  

Janice was a dedicated wife and aunt and will be missed by all of her family.  She is survived by three nephews and two nieces, Perry Cadman, Leanne Cadman, Robert Biesk, Adam Biesk, and Marci Pilon.  Janice is also survived by her two step daughters, Heather Weckbaugh Whitman and Holly Weckbaugh Demartini.  Preceded in death includes Janice’s father Alfred Mazzuca who migrated to Denver from Calabria Italy and her mother, Belinta Cribari who was born in Salida Colorado, and her two sisters, Theresa Biesk, and Antoinette Cadman.  

Janice was a United Airlines Flight Attendant, followed by working for the Bank of America, and later UBS Financial Services.  She loved working on cross stitch projects, reading, crossword puzzles, enjoying her dog Rosie, but most of all planning special holiday gatherings for the family. 

Funeral Service is to be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 27th at Drinkwine Family Mortuary. Interment to follow at 2 PM at Mt Olivet Catholic Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to either Big Bones Canine Rescue or the or to Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Research.
