Danny Dow "Old School" Merricks, 60 years of age, of Grundy, VA, passed away on Friday, February 14, 2025, at his residence. Born June 25, 1964, in Grundy, VA, he was the son of the late Dow and Beulah Osborne Merricks.
Danny enjoyed going to concerts, the lake, traveling and spending time with his family.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister Denise and brother Robbie.
Survivors include his fiancé Angie Baker of Grundy, VA; the man who raised him and he called dad Paul Bailey of Grundy, VA.
By honoring his wishes, Danny will be cremated and there will be no services at this time.
