It is with deep sorrow and much love that we bid farewell to Rodney Dale Daniels of Miami, Florida who departed from this world on February 14, 2025, at the age of 59 years old. 

Rodney was born September 9, 1965 in Miami, Florida to Genevieve and Aaron Daniels, he was the fifth and youngest son of six children. He leaves a legacy through his three children, Wayne “Billy” Ellington, Marquitia “Quitia” Williams and Rodneice “NeNe” Daniels. 

Rodney was a man of many roles, yet the role of a son, brother, father, uncle,  grandfather, and protector for his family is what he took most pride in. Affectionately called  “Grandad or PaPa”, he treasured his time with his grandkids and loved playing an active role in their lives by spending quality time with them. 

Rodney had very strong values and lived on his terms. He will be remembered as a devoted family man and a loyal friend, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him.

Rodney is survived and will be forever cherished and remembered by his; loving mother Genevieve Daniels, son Wayne “Billy” Ellington, daughters Marquitia Williams and  Rodneice “NeNe” Daniels, brother Derrick Daniels, sisters Patrice and Bridgette Daniels, 8 grandchildren; Rodneisha, Amantina, Tanaya, Jose, Edmond Jr., Tavares, Zhyeir, Donzelle, 2 great grandchildren; Noah and Layla, and a host of cherished nieces, nephews, cousins, extended relatives and friends who will continue to honor his legacy by living their lives to the fullest.

Rodney is Preceded in death by his father Aaron Daniels, sister Kim Daniels and brother Kenneth Daniels.
