<p>Memorial Services for Deloris "Dee Dee" Jean (Burns) Pate, 73 of Wilson are scheduled for 11:00 A.M., Friday, December 1, 2017 at Alexander Funeral Home in Wilson with Pastor Michael Caraway officiating. Inurnment will follow to Hewitt Cemetery. </p><p><br></p><p>Dee Dee was born on January 16, 1944 in Wilson to the late Mr. Thurman Harwood Burns and Mrs. Violet Estelle (Southerland) Burns. She passed from this life on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at her home in Wilson. </p><p><br></p><p>Dee Dee was raised in Wilson graduating high school from Wilson in 1963. She moved to the Ft. Worth area and she was blessed with 4 children. During this time she was a devoted homemaker. In 1984, she met Ralph Pate at the bowling alley and they were soon united in marriage on December 13, 1985 at Cleburne, TX. They remained in the Ft. Worth area where Dee Dee worked within the accounts receivable department for the Western Company of North America. They moved to Millsap, TX in the early 90's and later at Lake Leon in Eastland, TX where they owned and operated D &amp; R's Restaurant. In 2015, Dee Dee and Ralph moved to Wilson and have enjoyed being with friends and family. She was a past member of the Healdton First Baptist Church. </p><p><br></p><p>She is preceded in death by her parents; and a son, James Warren Holliman.</p><p><br></p><p>Dee Dee is survived by husband of the home; daughters, Lisa Bernal and husband Johnny of Burleson, TX, Sherri Burnett of Ranger, TX and Debra Everts of Eastland, TX; stepchildren, Cindy (Pate) Brayton and husband Chris of Ft. Worth and Steven Charles Pate and wife Charlene Dillinger of Berlin, VT; sisters, Mary Barbour and Sue Hawkins; brother, Richard Burns of Eastland, TX; half sisters, Cathren Burns and Carol Watkins Burns; half brother, Steven Burns; 7 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; mother in law, Lillian Maurine Pate of Hamilton, TX and other family and friends.</p><p><br></p><p>In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cross Timbers Hospice 207 C St NW, Ardmore, OK 73401.</p><p>Online condolences may be made to www.alexanderfuneralhome.org. </p>
