Freda Marie O'Daniels 82 of Sunset Beach, North Carolina formerly of Cedar Grove, West Virginia died February 14, 2025.
Ms. O'Daniels was born February 2, 1943 in Kanawha County, West Virginia and was the daughter of the late Virgil and Myrtle Vanmeter Coleman. She retired from the Kanawha County Public Schools after many years of Employment. She moved to Sunset Beach in 2015.
She is survived by her son, Shawn O'Daniels and wife Mel of Sunset Beach, N.C.; grandchildren, Logan McBride and Ashley Chambley; great-grandchildren, Aiden McBride, Nova Chambley and Reid Chambley; four brothers, Harold Coleman of Elkhart, Indiana, Billy Coleman of Elkhart, Indiana, Lawrence Coleman of Cedar Grove, West Virginia and Glenn Coleman of Cross Lane, West Virginia; three sisters, Christine Hudnall of Branson, Missouri, Dorothy Webster of Elkhart, Indiana and Nonna Kelly of Goshen, Indiana and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Monday February 24, 2025 at eleven o'clock in the morning at Kanawha Valley Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel, 6027 E. Dupont Ave. Glasgow, West Virginia. Interment will follow in Kanawha Valley Memorial Gardens.
