A Celebration of Life will be held honoring Debra Dawson Rasberry, age 66, on Saturday, February 22, 2025, at 2:00 at Springhill United Pentecostal Church with Rev. Lance Stockman officiating.  Family and friends are invited to attend.  

Mrs. Rasberry was born on April 20, 1958, to George Dawson and Lorene Dawson in Wheeling, WV and passed away with her family by her side on February 14, 2025, in Shreveport, LA.  She was a lifelong resident of this area.  She created a life she loved with her husband, Larry Rasberry, whom she was happily married to for 43 years.  She was a business owner for many years alongside her best friend, Trudy Baker.  She loved traveling with her husband, movie dates with her sisters, shopping with her daughter, and spending time with her grandchildren.

Debbie was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She is survived by her husband, Larry Rasberry; two children, Kevin McEachern of Shongaloo, LA, Crystal Rasberry Bandy, and husband, Jeremy of Plain Dealing, LA, and her beloved dog, Skye.  She is also survived by her sisters, Marilyn Rasberry of Shongaloo, LA, Renee Darst of Sarepta, LA; brothers, George Dawson, Jr. of Shongaloo, LA, Allen Dawson, and wife, Krista of Taylor, AR; sister-in-law, Angelia Rowe, and husband, Ricky Rowe of Emerson, AR; granddaughters, Candace McEachern and Ava Bandy; grandson, Jace Bandy; great grandson, Kyson Labarron; and a host of nieces and nephews.  

She was preceded in death by her mother, Lorene Allen Dawson, and her father, George Dawson.
