Dewey Edward Morris, 70, of Bayou George, went to be with the Lord on Friday, February 14, 2025.
Dewey was born on August 29, 1954, in Panama City. He grew up in the Cedar Grove area and worked at Sherman Shipyard, Eastern Marine and Aqua Bay Marine, where he was a Marine Carpenter.
Dewey is preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Abbie Morris; brothers Randall “Big R” Morris, Jimmy Morris and Jack Morris; and sisters, Freda Morris Curti and Dora Morris Curti.
Left to treasure his memory is his wife of 44 years, Cynthia Raisbeck Morris; daughters, Nichole Morris (Sam Bell) and Brooke Morris-Garcia (Juan Garcia); and grandchild, Braylon Cook.
A celebration of life will be 2:00pm Sunday, March 9, 2025, at 2853 Woodymarion Dr. Chipley, FL 32428 with Eddie Curti officiating.
