It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Robert (Bob) L’Heureux in Sudbury at Health Sciences North on Friday, February 14, 2025, at the age of 76 years.

Son to Georgette and Armand L’Heureux (Both predeceased). Dear brother of Georgette Potvin(Fern), Lucien L’Heureux (Predeceased) Jacqueline Pinard (Predeceased). Loving spouse to Diane Leveiller of Sudbury. Stepdad to Marc Leveiller(Louise), Carmen Massicotte(Mike). Grandpa to Ryan Leveiller, Jade Leveiller. Great-Grandpa to Wrenn Leveiller. Uncle to Luc L’Heureux, Colette Bujold (Allain), Claudette Taillefer (Don), Jeannine L’Heureux and Lise L’Heureux Desjardins (Marc), Carole Junor (Rod), Richard Potvin Jr. (Belinda).

Retired member of the International Union of Operating Engineers (IUOE Local 793).

Bob was happiest surrounded by family and friends at camp and going for rides on his “African Queen”. He was a great cook and a master with the BBQ.

Always happy-go-lucky, smiling, and full of jokes and laughter. You could always count on a great story.

As Bob’s licence plate said “IBHAPPY”

We would like to extend our sincerest gratitude and appreciation to the HSN staff who made his final days both comfortable and peaceful.

In keeping with his wishes, there will be no funeral, visitation, or service. Cremation has been held with Parklawn Cemetery. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
