Frank James Carroll, 41, of Shapleigh, Maine, passed away suddenly on Friday, February 14, 2025, at home in Maine. Frank was born in Long Branch, New Jersey and lived most of his life in Hazlet, New Jersey before moving to Maine.

Frank was also a proud and decorated United States Army Veteran, who received many awards. They consisted of two Army Commendation Medals, two Army Achievement Medals, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Iraq Campaign Medal with Campaign Star, Certificate of Appreciation, Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Korean Defense Service Medal, two Overseas Service Ribbon, and five Certificates of Achievement. Throughout 2006, Frank received certificates as an Explosive Ordinance Disposal Specialist, U.S. Army Ordinance Corps, and Wheel Vehicle Mechanic for the U.S. Army. In 2008 through 2009 he was a recovery Vehicle Operator in Iraq for the U.S. Army as well. He was also acknowledged for his excellent leadership abilities, sound decision-making skills and resourcefulness.

He was predeceased by his father John Michael Carroll. Frank is survived by his devoted mother Frances S. (Servideo) Carroll, his brother John Michael Carroll Jr. and his wife Danielle, his aunts and uncles, Patricia Brandt, Patrick Servideo and his wife Carole, Teddy Servideo, and Dawna Servideo, his cousins, Katherine Simone, RJ Simone, and Michael Brandt. He is also survived by his nephew Colin Carroll and his niece Hayley Carroll.

Family and friends are invited on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, at 10:00 AM for a Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, 727 Route 36 Union Beach, New Jersey 07735. Frank will be laid to rest at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery in Wrightstown, New Jersey.
