Mr. Larry Lynn Bowers, 69, of Ocean Springs, died Tuesday, February 6, 2018 in New Orleans.<br><br>He is preceded in death by his parents Hearl Bowers and Oree Bowers and two brothers, Emmett and Robert Smith. <br><br>He is survived by his wife Judy Bowers; children, Johnny Cole, Fred and Penny Cole, Willie and Alicia Cole, Chris and Danielle Cole, Amanda and Duane Cruthirds, and Steven Bowers; sister, Katie Bowers;15 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren.<br><br>Larry loved fishing, hunting, and barbecues. He loved to spend time with his family; and loved to work with his hands on different projects. Larry was proud to serve in the United States Army from 1968 to 1971. He served 2 tours in Vietnam.<br><br>The family will receive friends from 9:30 -10:30 on Friday, February 9, 2018 at Southern Mississippi Funeral Serivces.<br><br>Funeral services will be held following visitation at 10:30 at the funeral home.
