Betty Lou Harrison, 76, passed away Friday, February 14, 2025. A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 28, 2025 at Morgan Cemetery in Sumrall, MS.
Betty was born July 24, 1948 to Wanoch “Doc” and Bernice McCullough. In her early years, she worked at a furniture factory, but spent most of her life caring for her family. She loved children and loved her children dearly.
She is preceded in death by her father, Wanoch “Doc” McCullough; mother, Evelyn Bernice McCullough; daughter, Melinda Lou Pearson; daughter-in-law, Frankie Pearson; sisters, Jean Ray and Reta Morgan; and brother, Junior McCullough.
She is survived by her son, Thomas Glynn Pearson; daughter, Shirley Pearson (Paul) Milner; step-son, Gene (Kaye) Holder; granddaughters, Lauren, Hannah, Sarah, Emmalyn, Dillon, Taylor, Garrett, and Lele; sisters, Sandy (Harold) Walley, Pat Skaggs, and Joyce (Tim) Pettis; seven great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
