Greenville, NH - Robert Joseph Degnan, 71, of Greenville NH, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, February 14, 2025

He was born to John and Marilyn Degnan in Malden Massachusetts.

Bob's parents divorced when Bob was very young and Bob grew up with his father and grandparents in Reading.

Bob attended Reading High School and joined the Army after graduation. After boot camp he was stationed at Ft. Bliss in El Paso, Texas where he served 8 years.

While at Ft. Bliss he met Guadalupe Martinez. Bob and Lupe married in 1976. Bob and Lupe were married almost 50 years, until her passing.

After his service Bob and Lupe made their home in El Paso, Texas for several years. Bob and Lupe later relocated to New Hampshire so they could be closer to Bob's father, Jack.

Bob and Lupe never had children but they had their dogs, Cookie, Pepper, and finally Cooper they both loved as their babies.

Bob is survived by his father, Jack Degnan, Uncle Gerald Surette, cousins, Stephan, Brian, and John Surette, Peter, Paul, and Nancy Degnan Patricia Weathersby and Mary Coyle.

He is also survived by his sisters and brothers in law, many nieces and nephews in Texas.

Bob is predeceased by his wife Guadalupe Degnan, his mother, Marilyn, and grandparents.
