Montez E. Gamble Obituary

Montez E. Gamble, born on October 13, 1974, in Louisville, KY to the union of Diane Southers (Gamble) and Gary Quarles. He went home to be with his eternal Father, Lord & Savior on Friday February 14, 2025. He was 50 years old.

Known for his strong spiritual connection with God, Montez enjoyed trucks, basketball, and rap music, and even had a YouTube channel.

He was a resilient individual, having grown up in Southwick Housing, and valued living in the moment, often sharing his life on social media with gratitude.

He was a proud father to his children and had a special bond with his fiancé, Tiffany Gwyn, and her children. Montez is remembered for his bright smile, love of morning walks, and a supportive family, including his parents and numerous siblings.

Montez was preceded in death by his brother, Vincent Quarles.

He leaves behind a loving family, including his parents; children, Ciera, Jada, Montez Jr.(Nicole Williams), Kylee; grandson, Caden; siblings, Angel, Gary, John, Jomanda, Gunice, Deshonte, Joyceline, William, Tyson, and Montez; beloved Fiance’, Tiffany; stepchildren, Ny’Lasia, Anniyah, Chris; and a host of nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, cousins, and close friends.

He left a legacy of happiness and strength, and his presence will be greatly missed.

Visitation and Service are to be held at Greater Friendship Missionary Baptist Church located at 2325 Osage Ave, Louisville, KY 40210, on Friday February 28, 2025. Visitation 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Service immediately following visitation at 1:00 p.m. Interment at Green Meadows Memorial Cemetery 3800 Shanks Lane, Louisville, KY 40216
