Virginia M. Sternberg, 78, of Savannah, NY passed away unexpectedly on Friday, February 14, 2025. Mrs. Sternberg was born in Auburn on September 11, 1946.
She was employed with Ontario Janitorial, Inc., for many years.
Virginia loved dancing, bowling and driving around to look at scenery. She had a smile for any stranger and would often strike up a conversation with anyone she met. She had a great sense of humor; her laugh will be greatly missed. Most of all, Virginia was an animal lover and she leaves behind her cats Molly and Jo-Jo.
Virginia is survived by her daughters, Debra Clark and Amy Capone; her grandchildren, Sarah Clark, Valerie Clark, Dominic Capone and Marissa Capone; her longtime partner and love Timothy Salisbury; and daughter-in-law Donna Alcock
Virgina was predeceased by her son Rick Alcock; her parents Marjorie and Robert St. Croix; her sister, Donna Davis; and her brothers, Edward and John Hanna.
Calling hours will be held Sunday, February 23rd from 11am to 1pm in White Chapel Funeral Home, 2719 Erie Drive Weedsport.
