Jonathan Kent Bergfield, 52, of Anabel, MO, passed away tragically on Friday, February 14, 2025.
Jon was born on January 24, 1973, in Macon, MO, the son of David & Velma (Seward) Bergfield. He was united in marriage to Shannon Gordon on April 24, 1996.
He is survived by his wife, Shannon Bergfield of the home; three children, Kenny Howard and his fiancé Ana Rucker, Logan Bergfield and his wife Jasmine of Anabel, MO, and Breah Bergfield and her partner Jesse Helm of Macon, MO; four grandsons; Alan, Anax, Waylon, and Rory, with another grandson and one granddaughter expected later this year; his father, David Bergfield; one brother, Jamie Bergfield and his wife Tera of Anabel, MO; mother-in-law, Vicki Hammontree of Macon, MO; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and other extended family and friends.
Jon was preceded in death by his mother, Velma Bergfield; his grandparents; one nephew, Dominic Bergfield; and father-in-law, Wayne Hammontree.
Jon worked as a machinist at Economy Products for 16 years. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandkids, listening to good music and having a “good time”.
Visitation will be 12:00 to 1:00 pm, Monday, February 24, 2025, at the Hutton & McElwain Funeral Home in Macon, MO. Graveside service will be 1:30 pm, Monday, at the Bethlehem Cemetery, east of Macon. Memorials are suggested to the family for expenses.
