James Ralph Rhodes, 85, of Saxton, Pennsylvania; passed away on February 14, 2025. He was born on July 03, 1939 in Saxton, Pennsylvania; a son of the late Jack and Mary Marie (Dzwonczyk) Rhodes. On June 15, 1968, he was united in marriage to his former wife Judy Hennessey.

Along with Judy, he is survived by their two daughters Wendy Manspeaker and life long friend Rocky Yablonski of Saxton, Jacki Rhodes and significant other Jay Williams of Saxton; grandchildren KayLee Rhodes and fiancé Timothy Hanson, Cheyanne Manspeaker and fiancé Victor Lord and Tanner James Manspeaker married to Alyssa; great grandchildren Timothy III and Arizona Hanson; siblings Patricia Manegan, and Carol Zimmerman married to Joe. Along with three nieces and one nephew.  He was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Warren Manegan and a great niece.

He served in the U.S. Army from 1963-1966 serving his country in Spain and France. He was an over the road truck driver for over 30 years and had over 3 million safe miles.  He finished his driving career with J. H. Russell.

Jim was raised in the Brethren faith.

He was a lifetime member of the Saxton V.F.W. Post No. 4129.  He enjoyed spending time with his family sharing jokes and stories.  He also enjoyed fishing, being outdoors, mowing his lawn, riding motorcycles, YouTube streaming. 

A Private Memorial Service will be held at the convenience of the family.
