CYNTHIA MARIE WHEELER

MUSCATINE, Iowa – Cynthia Wheeler, 67, passed away on Friday, February 14, 2025, at her home.

Funeral service will be at 1:00 PM on Friday, February 21, 2025, at Jesus Mission Church, 513 Mulberry Ave, Muscatine, Iowa, followed by food and fellowship. Burial will be in Columbus City at a later date. Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be made to the family in care of Brandon Wheeler. Cynthia was born on April 8, 1957, in Washington, Iowa, the daughter of Earl R. and Elsie J. Stigers Hiller. She married Verlyn Wheeler on April 12, 1980, in Fredonia, Iowa.

She was a member of the Jesus Mission Church, volunteered at Pearl City Outreach and Jessica Faye’s Closet in Muscatine. She was also a member of Dove Fellowship. Cynthia was very active in her community, and many referred to her as ‘Mom’.

Cynthia is survived by her son, Brandon Wheeler; siblings, Charlotte and David Anderson, Dennis Hiller and Linda Mummy, Jim and Tammy Hiller, Duane Hiller, Donald and Ruchel Hiller, Rose and Dennis Whitlow, and Cathy Hiller.
