William “Bill” Brian Reinhardt was born to Duane and Donna (Brunkow) Reinhardt on March 20, 1951, in Wabasha, Minnesota. Shortly after, his family relocated to a farm near Stratford. He graduated from Warner High School. On December 21, 1970, he was drafted into the army at age 19. He served overseas in the Vietnam War and was honorably discharged two days after his 21st birthday in 1972. The war left a profound impact on him, shaping his life and experiences.
Years later, Bill married Deborah Rae Job, and they settled in Aberdeen, SD. Together, they welcomed their daughter, Melissa. Bill was known for his strong work ethic and his deep love for working outdoors. He owned and operated “Wild Bill’s Lawncare” for many years, finding immense satisfaction in completing a job well done.
In his free time, Bill cherished various activities. In his younger years, he was an avid fisherman and trapper. More recently, he was fond of the flock of birds that frequented his yard. He also took great pleasure in watching and feeding them. Sports were a passion of his, with football being his favorite.
As his father, Duane, began to decline, Bill dedicated himself to caring for him, visiting him daily.
Bill is survived by his daughter, Melissa (Dan) Nielson, and their daughters Norah and Amelia, of Tea, SD. He is also survived by his brothers, Charles (Patty) Reinhardt, Bruce (Kirsten) Reinhardt, and sisters Victoria Fischbach, Mary (Aaron) Wiest, and Jeana (Wayne) Graham. Additionally, he is blessed with numerous nieces and nephews and several close friends.
Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Deb, his parents, and two brothers.
