"Bob" / "Grandpa"

Robert L. Rude, affectionately known as Bob and Grandpa, passed away in Dover, NJ, on February 14, 2025, at the age of 80.

He was born on October 12, 1944, in Franklin, NJ. A proud U.S. Army veteran,

Bob served his country during the Vietnam War, earning the respect

and gratitude of those who knew him and served alongside him. After his military

service, Bob enjoyed his career as a bus driver and eventually worked

for Pabco Transit in Dover, NJ where he met and later married the love

of his life, Delia. After retiring, Bob devoted his time to the things that

beloved wife (Grandma) and enjoying the company of his children,

grandchildren, and extended family. Bob lived a life full of love, service,

and dedication and was known for his sense of humor, feisty spirit, and a

strong sense of loyalty. His greatest joy was being with family, and he

will be always remembered for his quick wit and unwavering love.
