Margaret Coleman was born September 10, 1941, in Yazoo City, Mississippi, the beloved daughter of the late Robert L. Coleman Sr and Denoraise Leavy. She departed this earthly life for eternal life with the Lord on Friday, February 14, 2025, in Columbia, South Carolina.
Margaret attended and graduated from John Adams High School Ozone Park Queens, in Jamaica, New York. She was employed with the Social Security Administration as a Benefits Administrator. Margaret was a member of the Order of Eastern Star.
Ms. Coleman was a member of Journey United Methodist Church in Columbia where she attended faithfully and regularly before her health declined.
She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend who has left a legacy of love to all those who loved and knew her.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brothers, Jimmy, and Charles Coleman.
Margaret has left loving and precious memories to her children, Anisa Fernandez and Michael Fernandez; grandchildren; and great-grandchildren; loving brothers, Robert Coleman Jr. and Anthony Coleman; a host of nephews, nieces; and her dear fur baby, Bailey; and other loving relatives and dear friends, all of whom will dearly miss her.
