Geraldine Evelyn Amerson, 82, Warrenton, Georgia, entered into eternal rest on February 14, 2025.

She was born in Pontiac, Michigan on April 2, 1942, grew up in Keego Harbor, Michigan and moved to the Warren County area in 1991.  She was Baptist by faith, and she lived a life revolving around her family, loved her family.  Geraldine raised nine children of her own along with two grandchildren, William “B. J.” Hope, Jr. and Annie Hope. She loved her family and dogs dearly.

Geraldine is preceded in death by her husband, Paul Amerson; her parents, George Filby and Geraldine Soles Filby and her sons, William Hope and Andrew Hope.  She is survived by her children, Thomas Hope, Jr. of Flint, Michigan; Tammie Morgan (Jack) of Warrenton, Georgia; Gehlert Hope of Thomson, Georgia; Timothy Hope, Anthony Hope, Tina Hope (Pierce Newsome) all of Warrenton, Georgia; and Tonia Hendrickson (Mike) of Gains, Michigan; her sister, Barbara Oshaughnessy (Lester); numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and extended family.

Her Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Beggs Funeral Home, 799 Cobbham Road, Thomson, Georgia.  The Funeral Service, being officiated by Robin Ivey, will be held on Wednesday, February 19, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. in the Beggs Funeral Home Chapel, Thomson, Georgia, with the interment at Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens following the service.  Pallbearers for the services are Anthony Hope, Jack Morgan, Pete Amerson, Jr., Joseph Amerson, William “B.
