Marilyn Jean Rowlands, age 84, of Willoughby, OH, passed away peacefully on February 14, 2025, at her residence. Born on August 22, 1940, in Ashtabula, OH, Marilyn was the beloved wife of the late Edward W. Rowlands.

She was a loving and devoted mother to Cindy (Tom) Lentz and cherished grandmother to David (Chelsea) Lentz, Kimberly (Kenny) Steinbauer, and Brian (Kate) Lentz. Marilyn’s heart overflowed with love for her great-grandchildren, Grace and Cooper Lentz, Josephine and Emily Steinbauer, who brought her immense joy.

Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Agnes (Surbella) Dworczyk, and her infant sister, Lorraine Dworczyk.

A proud 1958 graduate of St. John's High School in Ashtabula, Marilyn remained actively involved in her community. She was a dedicated member of St. John Vianney Parish Church and was a valuable Festival volunteer. Additionally, she volunteered her time at Salida Woods, always looking for ways to help others.

Family and friends are invited to gather for a funeral mass at 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 22, 2025, at St. John Vianney Church, 7575 Bellflower Road, Mentor, OH.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made in Marilyn's name to St. John's High School, 7911 Depot Road, Ashtabula, OH 44004.

Marilyn will be dearly missed by all who knew her, and her memory will forever live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
