Kenneth E Doutt Jr., "Kenny", 62, of Corry, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 14, 2025, at Corry Memorial Hospital.

Kenneth was born January 25, 1963 in Corry, Pa., a son of the late Kenneth E. Doutt Sr. and Naomi Huff Doutt. 
 
He graduated from Corry High School in 1982.  Kenny was employed by Bova's Hardware, Slocum's Store, First National Bank of PA, and Dutch Treat as a laborer and assistant before becoming self-employed.

Kenneth was a member of the Valley View Mennonite Church and the Sparta Grange. He enjoyed holidays, especially Christmas, Valentines Day, Halloween and his birthday. Kenny also enjoyed going camping, fishing, visiting friends and family, playing the organ, bingo, word searches, crafts, reunions, and attending and participating in the Spartansburg Fair.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his half-sister, Sandra Doutt Huff Campbell; a half-brother, Richard Szewczuk; a sister-in-law, Diane Szewczuk; two of his favorite aunts, Lula Belle Carlson, and Alta Huff; close friends, Prudy Ploss, Bonnie Nielson, Margaret Williams; as well as several of his favorite caregivers, Kathy and Jim Slocum , Norm and Ruth Shellito, and Nathan Barstow.

Survivors include Kenny's half-sisters, Barbara Faust of Denver, CO., Susan C. Halfast (LeRoy) of Spartansburg; half-brothers Andrew Szewczuk (Elizabeth "Liz") of  Spring Grove, PA., Philip Szewczuk (Laura Savko) of Spartansburg, David Szewczuk (Jean) of Mt. Vernon, OH, and Chris Doutt of Corry; Aunts Eleanor Deveraux and Harriet Sherwood (Tom). Additionally, his best friends, Joyce Conklin Beals, Tim and Sandy Hazeltine, Marvin "Spud" Mead, Zackary Martin, Tim Cox, Nathan Joy, Clarence "Sonny" Fuller, Stanbro family, John and Becky Payer, Terry Fisher, Terry and Louis Fisher, Greg and Christy Long, Betty Jewel, The John Bova family, Ron Cracker, "Snookie" Bailey, Mary Lou Dreese, Eddy Bennett, Dave Frontera, Corinne Scouten, Jacob Barstow, Rhonda Hopkins, and Jill Driscoll; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and so many more, you know who you are and he loved you.

Kenny reminisced fondly of his many caregivers throughout his life, to which he was always very grateful, including Cheryl, Andrew, and Matthew Sandberg, Missy Doutt, Tim and Donna Woodard, Patty Jaquith, Jackie Cox, Laurel Swart, Bethany Trikur, Monica Popham, Shannon Davis, Denise Sonney, Amber Ester, as well as the caring staff members he met throughout his life.

Kenny was often heard saying, "Do you remember me? I am Kenny Doutt."; "You are my best friend."; and "I love you."

Friends may call on Tuesday, February 18, from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. with a funeral service beginning at 1:00 p.m. at Valley View Mennonite Church, 24313 PA-89 & PA-77, Spartansburg, PA 16434.  Burial will be in the Valley View Mennonite Church Cemetery.
