Brett W. Mingus, 55, of Bellevue, passed away Friday, February 14, 2025 at his home. He was born December 30, 1969 in Bellevue the son of the late Karen (Ward) and Richard Mingus.

Brett was a 1989 graduate of Bellevue High School. He had worked at Whirlpool and Roeder Harley Davidson and Mad River Harley Davidson in Sandusky. Most recently he owned the No Where Tavern.

He was a member of the Bellevue Eagles #490 and the Bellevue Moose #238. He loved to ride motorcycles. Brett never met a stranger; he would take the shirt off his back to help anyone. He was a loving father and a good friend to all who know him.

He is survived by his son Race Mingus of Spring Hill, TN, best friend and girlfriend, Tonya Laviola of Bellevue, brothers, Richard G. Mingus of Kentucky, Robert G. Mingus of Portsmouth, OH, Peter J. Mingus of Wheelersburg, OH, sisters Robin G. Mingus of Las Vegas, NV, and Ama Jo Mingus of Portsmouth, OH.

Visitation will be 5-8pm, Thursday, February 20, 2025 in the Auxter Funeral Home, 1105 Castalia St, Bellevue, OH 44811. Funeral services will be 10:30 am, Friday, February 21, 2025 in the funeral home. Fr. Phil Feltman will officiate. Burial will follow in Bellevue City Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to the family.
