Wynantskill-Mary Winifred "Winnie" Pelletier 97 passed away on February 14, 2025.

Born in Standish, NY she was the daughter of the late Leo Plumadore and Dorothy Facteau Plumadore and the loving wife to the late Leo Pelletier, who passed in 2006.

Winnie worked in retail at Denby's and Stanley's in Troy and at HVCC as a switchboard operator. For over 35 years, she owned and operated Ceramics By Winnie. She was a talented artist, winning several awards, and loved teaching ceramics to hundreds of students over the years. Winnie was a devout catholic. After joining St. Jude the Apostle Church in the early 1950’s, she was heavily involved with St. Jude’s School, was a member of the Rosary Alter Society, a Lecture, and led the RCIA Program for many years.

Winnie is survived by her daughter Suzanne (James) Hansen, her grandchildren Zachary Hansen, Mitchell Hansen and Rebecca (Frank) Barger, her great grandchildren Mason, Owen and Riley Barger, her sister Rita Aileen (late James) Clinton.

In addition to her mother, father and husband Leo, she was predeceased by her brother Leo (late Madeleine) Plumadore.

Family and friends are invited and may call from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Friday February 21, 2025 at the Wynantskill Funeral Home, 294 Whiteview Road, Wynantskill. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Saturday at St. Jude the Apostle Church, 43 Brookside Avenue, Wynantskill. Burial St. Mary’s Cemetery.
