Judith Ann Channel, 63, of Salem, WV, formerly of Parkersburg, passed away February 14, 2025 at the United Hospital Center in Bridgeport. She was born January 13, 1962 in Parkersburg, a daughter of the late John Beckwith and Mary Moore Channel.
Judy was an employee of the Salem Correctional Center in Salem, WV. She graduated from Parkersburg South High School in 1980. She liked being outdoors, camping and gardening and tending to her plants and flowers. Judy was a huge Elvis fan.
Surviving is her daughter Dianna Allowatt (Nick) of Hepzibah, WV, brother John Channel (Rose) of Parkersburg, sister Diane Prevette (Dean) of Martinsburg, grandson Chase Allowatt and a granddaughter on the way. Several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews survive along with her loving companions: Butterscotch, Yodessa, Callie and Miss Kitty.
In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death by a brother Mark Channel.
Funeral services will be Wednesday 11AM at the Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg with Pastor Adam Myers officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday 4-7PM.
