Columbiana - Bonnie Sue Mauch, age 70, of Columbiana, died on Friday, February 14, 2025, at Mercy Health St. Elizabeth Boardman Hospital.

She was born on September 15, 1954, in Youngstown, the daughter of the late Daniel and Rita Gessner Mauch.

Bonnie was a graduate of Canfield High School and Kent State University.  She was a proud veteran of the United States Army and had worked as an intelligence analyst for United States Government.  Bonnie was a very private woman who had a soft spot for animals. 

Bonnie is survived by her neighbor and friends, Lee Unkefer and Nancy Tomkins, whom she affectionately referred to as her "Guardian Angels".

She was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother, Richard Mauch, Sr.

Friends will be received on Friday, February 21, 2025, from 10:00 am - 11:00 am at the Warrick-Kummer-Rettig Funeral Home, Columbiana.

Services will be held on Friday, at 11:00 am, at the funeral home, with Pastor Kari Lankford officiating.

Burial will take place at the Columbiana Cemetery where military honors will be accorded by the American Legion Honor Guard, Benjamin Firestone Post #290.  

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Warrick-Kummer-Rettig Funeral Home, Columbiana.
