Gisele Tadeus Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dear mother, after a brief illness, at the Timmins and District Hospital on Friday, February 14, 2025 at the age of 89 years. Predeceased by her husband Herbert Tadeus. Dear mother of Walter Tadeus (Mireille)and Heidi Tadeus. Loving grandmother of Nicholas, Mathew and Kevin. Dear sister of Jean Joanisse and Butch Joanisse. Predeceased by her parents Ernest and Laure Joanisse, her sister Cecile Vogrinetz, her daughter-in-law Mervi Tadeus and her son-in-law Paul Lamothe. Mom worked all her life, all the while being a fantastic cook and baker. Mom loved bingo, fishing and would pass up a steak for a hot dog! We would like to thank the TDH staff for taking such good care of Mom. Also, thank you to the staff at the Walford where Mom lived the past several years. Remembrance donations to the Timmins Food Bank would be greatly appreciated. As per mom’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private burial for the family will be held in the spring. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, Cremation and Reception Centre, 150 Balsam St. S., Timmins.
