Virginia Lou Reddick, 88, passed away February 14, 2025, in Chattanooga, Tennessee. She was born October 22, 1936, in Page, Oklahoma to the late Dwayne and Virgie King.
Virginia loved Jesus, her family, friends and her pets. She was kind and never spoke mean words against anyone. She was great at helping one see both sides of a situation but honored the decision made. Virginia enjoyed her career as an IV nurse at Erlanger Hospital. As a cancer nurse she helped people with their walk-through treatments. Frequently she would lend a listening ear to a friend or family member. She took delight in traveling with her husband and friends. Virginia’s hobbies included playing cards, sewing, putting puzzles together and gaming of any kind. She will always be remembered as the sweetest lady ever.
She was predeceased by her parents, husband, Edward Reddick, daughter, Karen Paige, two brothers, Jack and Gordon King and two sisters, Margaret King and Lola Arthur.
Virginia is survived by four sons, Lloyd McCutcheon, Gaylen Reddick, Tony Reddick (Fran), Lyndon Reddick (Sheila), three daughters, Charleen Glidden (Steve), Deanna Dukes, Valda Opp (Rod), two nieces, several grandchildren, great grands and a great great grand baby.
Funeral services for Virginia will be 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at Heritage Funeral Home East Brainerd Chapel. The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 1:00 P.M. at Heritage Funeral Home.
