With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Konstantinos Papanikolas, who left this world on February 14, 2025, at the age of 87. Born on May 8, 1937, in Rhodes, Greece, Konstantinos lived a life filled with passion, dedication, and love.
In 1975, he embarked on a new journey, migrating to the United States to build a better future for his family. With immense skill and craftsmanship, he worked as a custom tailor at Neiman Marcus, where he took great pride in his artistry. Before tailoring became his craft, soccer was his first love. Konstantinos played professionally, showcasing his talent and dedication on the field.
Above all, Konstantinos was a devoted family man. He is survived by his loving wife, Sophia, who stood by his side through every chapter of life. His legacy lives on through his children: Maro and her husband, Yianni; Katie and her husband, Peter; Georgia and her fiancé, Antony; and Anastasios and his wife, Marina. He was also a proud grandfather to 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren, who were his greatest joy.
Kostas’ unwavering spirit will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His memory will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and all those whose lives he touched.
