Mary Ann Stockert Rondeau, age 71, of Farmersville, Ohio, passed away Friday February 14, 2025, after a battle with illness. She was born April 9, 1953, daughter of Frances C. (Finigan) and Paul E. Stockert. She was raised in Farmersville, Ohio and attended Farmersville Elementary, graduating from Valley View High School ~ Class of 1971. She is a graduate from Wright State University and received her master’s in business administration from the University of Dayton. Mary retired from Montgomery County Courts, where she worked for more than 30 years as a Court Assignment Administrator.


Mary Ann married the love of her life and best friend, Roger Rondeau, in October of 1988. She loved to travel, fish and hike; and made many trips to Hawaii, and numerous parks across the United States, to Washington State, Florida and the Stockert summer retreat in Magician Lake, Michigan. Mary enjoyed her pets and always had a dog and cat at her side. Mary enjoyed gardening alongside Roger, and they were both very proud of the home they built in Farmersville. She was a loyal and loving horseback rider and gave a home to several horses throughout her life. She had a lifelong love of reading and attended many Bible study groups.


In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Roger Rondeau. Mary is survived by 7 brothers and sisters, David Stockert, Fran Delegato, Diana (Chuck) Lewis, Paula (Robert) Thibeault, Paul E. Stockert II, James (Anna) Stockert, and Elizabeth “Liz” (Ken) Miller; numerous nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and nephews; and best lifelong friend Jean Patterson Neu.


Mary will be remembered by relatives as an organizer of many a family get togethers, and faithful attendee of the cousin’s luncheon. She will be known as the family singer of Zip A-Dee-Doo-Dah sung at many Christmas Eve family gatherings.


A Memorial Gathering and Visitation will be held 10 a.m. – 12 p.m., Friday April 25, 2025, at the Dalton Funeral Home, 6900 Weaver Road, Germantown, Ohio, where A Celebration of Life will follow at 12 p.m. If desired memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton, or to Robyn’s Nest in Germantown.
