Katherine Louise LaRue was born September 5, 1931 in Omaha, Nebraska to John Clyde and Henrietta Charlotte (Bowley) McFadden. She passed away on Friday, February 14, 2025 at her home in Duncan. She was 93.

Katherine married Martin Charles LaRue on September 24, 1960 in Omaha, Nebraska. She had been employed as a customer service representative for Sears and Mutual of Omaha.
Preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, and her husband, Martin, Katherine is survived by her three children: Brett LaRue, Beth Ann David, and Matthew David LaRue; seven grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
