Blakelyn Rose Sons earned her angel wings on Friday, February 14, 2025, at St. Thomas Medical Center in Murfreesboro. She is survived by her loving parents, Austin and Alexis Sons; siblings, Easton Sons, Grayson Sons, and Isabella Sons; grandparents, Greg and Dana Farris, Tim (Amy) Sons, and Maranda (Aaron) Thrasher; great-grandparents, Gary Ashley, Jim (Marcia) Farris, and Jerry (Zella) Sons; aunts and uncles, Ashlyn (Sammy) Adcock, Matthew (Amber) Farris, Chaz Farris, Ryan Morris (Alena), Brandon (Kelsey) Sons, Ethan Sons, and Anakin Thrasher, and Kilo Thrasher; and a host of cousins. Blakelyn Rose was preceded in death by her great-grandmothers, Marilyn Matthews-Ocheltree and Martha Shockley. Visitation will be from 11am-12pm on Tuesday February 18, 2025, at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at 12 noon at Owens Chapel Cemetery with Minister Wanda Strayhorn officiating.
