Phillip R. Agee, 78, of Wooster, passed away Friday, February 14, 2025, at his home after a period of declining health.
He was born in Bluefield, WV on Sept. 26, 1946, to the late Homer H. and Ella Glorine (Starling) Agee. Phil married Deborah J. Mullet on March 19, 1978, and she survives; they had been married 46 years.
He was a graduate of Wooster High School and was employed by Regal Ware and retired from Redhead Brass. Phil was a true outdoorsman; an avid hunter, and fisherman, he had many trophies displayed in his “man-cave.” He was a fan of politics and westerns. Phil was ornery by nature and never met a stranger. One time; Stephanie thought they would never get out of the store, as Phil had to talk to everyone he met along the way.
He was a founding member of West Hill Baptist Church and later a member of the Big Prairie Community Church.
Surviving in addition to his wife Debbie, is a daughter, Stephanie L. Agee of Wooster; a brother, Gary (Ruth) Agee of Loudonville; and his mother-in-law, Mary Lou Mullet of Wooster.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and his father-in-law, Jim Mullet.
Friends may call Saturday, Feb 22nd from 10-11:00am at Schlabach Funeral Home. Funeral services will begin at 11:00am with Tim Hendershott officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery, Shreve.
