Nicholas "Nick" Charles Brown Obituary

Nicholas "Nick" Charles Brown, 58, passed away on February 14, 2025 following a short illness. A man of boundless enthusiasm, a quick wit, and an encyclopedic mind, he found joy in the worlds of Star Trek, Star Wars and Doctor Who, as well as in music and motorsports. Nick was a proud Eagle Scout, a graduate of DeSales High School and Jefferson Community College, and retired from the Jefferson County Clerk's office after 27 years of service.

Nick is survived by his beloved wife of 31 years, Lisa; his brothers, Chris (Linda) and Matt (Christie); nieces Leah Timbo (Rich), Allison Haley (Brandon), and Emily Brown; and great-nieces and nephews Alice, Rich, Penelope and Karson, his father-in-law, Bruce Nelson, as well as cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Shirley Brown, his mother-in-law, Diane Nelson, and friends, Jeff Baete and Eric Franklin.

Nick lived with curiosity, passion, and a deep appreciation for the things he loved. He will be dearly missed by all who know him.

The family would like to thank all of the doctors, nurses and staff at Baptist Health who helped care for Nick.
