Daniel John “DJ” Gordon, age 27, of Rock Falls, died Friday, February 14, 2025 at CGH Medical Center in Sterling.

DJ was born August 16, 1997 in Madison, WI, the son of Dan and Lisa (Luttrell) Gordon. He was employed at the Wal-Mart DC as an order filler and also at his dad’s American Family Insurance Agency as a customer service representative. DJ enjoyed fishing and golfing with his many friends and participating in multiple dart leagues.

He is survived by his parents of Rock Falls; his brother, Branden (Angel Strutzenberg) Gordon of Dixon; one of his favorite people, his niece, Oaklynn; one uncle, David Gordon; one aunt, Vicki (Bert) Cloudt; and three cousins, Jeffrey Gordon, Timothy Newsham, and Cody Harmon.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Jessica Gordon; one uncle, Doug Gordon; and his grandparents.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 20, 2025 from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at the McDonald Funeral Home in Rock Falls. A visitation will also take place on Friday, February 21, 2025 from 10:00 – 11:00 AM at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Rock Falls. The funeral will follow at 11:00 AM with Reverend Bree Truax officiating. Burial will be at Coloma Township Cemetery in Rock Falls.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established.
